Klook’s New Private Taxi Tours in Pyeongchang, Jecheon, Namwon, and Suncheon Open Up South Korea’s Rural Tourism for Global Travelers

Global travel platform Klook has unveiled its new “Klook Private Taxi Tours” aimed at enhancing access to rural attractions for international tourists visiting South Korea. This initiative, starting Monday, complements Klook’s express bus booking service, which launched in January exclusively for foreign travelers. The taxi tours are designed to offer customized and convenient travel experiences to off-the-beaten-path destinations in four scenic locations: Pyeongchang (Gangwon Province), Jecheon (North Chungcheong Province), Namwon (North Jeolla Province), and Suncheon (South Jeolla Province).

The tour programs, which range from three to eight hours, include guided visits to local tourist attractions and allow travelers to tailor their itineraries to explore additional sites of interest. Accommodating up to four passengers per vehicle, these tours aim to resolve common transportation challenges faced by travelers in rural areas of South Korea.

To further incentivize visitors, Klook is offering special discounts for travelers from the US and Taiwan on Korail and express bus tickets booked through its platform, valid until November 16. This discount covers routes leading to the rural destinations included in the taxi tour service.

Klook’s latest offering is part of a broader strategy to boost rural tourism by providing hassle-free access and a more immersive cultural experience, tailored to the needs of international visitors.
